Projekt Roof Veranda – Rooftop Deck & Covered Ground Terrace
Project Overview
Conversion of a single-story house's flat roof into a fully accessible rooftop terrace with composite hardwood decking and a powder-coated steel balustrade, combined with a covered ground-floor veranda. The project transforms unused roof area into a generous outdoor living space with open views over the surrounding landscape – a smart, space-doubling renovation for existing rural properties.
The roof was structurally reinforced, sealed, and topped with a level composite hardwood deck dimensioned to cover the full footprint of the house. A safety-rated steel balustrade was installed around the perimeter, and an external steel staircase provides direct access from the garden. At ground level, an existing veranda was rebuilt and roofed to create a sheltered outdoor living and dining area, doubling the usable outdoor space of the property.
